Stealth Fly-tipping solutions
VIT Innovation Limited has been at the forefront of rapid deployment battery operated ultra-low-light surveillance systems for the past five years and has just released its latest generation of Stealth III equipment.
Why are we different?... We deploy for customers if required and understand the real world problems associated with setting up fly tipping systems.
As a company that not only manufactures, but if required can deploy and manage covert installations, we understand at first hand the difficulties of working in the field, with no mains power and no wired communications.
We have specifically developed our systems and manufacture our own quality radio links, circuitry and power management systems to allow the system to run for weeks on end on its own battery packs.
Our cameras are supplied wireless and can transmit up to several hundred meters from their location, allowing them to be positioned in order to optimise the camera view to catch vehicle registration plates (often across roads). This also allows the recording solution to be hidden in a safer location (often underground), and removes the danger of wired cameras being located and of the wire being followed back to the recording location and the equipment removed/damaged.
We provide the same image recording software in our Stealth kits as we do to UK police for surveillance operations. This solution offers premium image quality, real time recording and the ability to swap hard drives and recording. We understand that you need to spend as little time as possible at a location, as the more time you visit or spend at the location the more chance of the covert nature being compromised.
With this in mind, we have developed small, weatherproof hard drive enclosures that allow you to swap the drive in less than one minute and leave the site.
Why are we different?... Our systems can email you pictures daily to report if fly tipping has occurred.
We understand that you may deploy the Stealth unit miles from base; you may also have several units deployed at any time. Traditionally, you would have to visit the site to see if fly tipping had occurred and then remove the kits' hard drives to review footage, or connect a monitor on site to review footage. Taking into account what we have learnt from 5 years of covert operations we had developed our units to send images to your email address each morning, to show you what the cameras are looking at and allow you to check the location. You can also contact the unit at any time and have it send you email images of what it is viewing. This saves valuable travelling time and also allows you to check sites without compromising them.
Why are we different?... Playback of hard drive recordings and editing, photo generation on your own office PC is a function of the stealth system.
Our systems are supplied with a simple editing software suite. We can load this on your existing PC, or supply a dedicated editing PC/Printer for you. With this software, you can plug in hard drives from your units, and search, replay, copy, print and burn CD evidence including video and still shots. This maximizes the ability to keep the kits in the field and recording and uses swap out hard drives to bring the footage back to your base for review.
Why are we different?... Tracking of your systems.
Other systems we manufacture and supply include GPS tracking systems. We can include the option of fitting GPS and radio trackers to our kits which will automatically alarm and inform us when or if they are being opened or moved. We can track the units using GPS co-ordinates and display their locations on mapping and aerial photographic software. We have successfully used the same technology for tracking and locating loads of refuse being illegally dumped.
As a turnkey manufacturer, we do not buy and resell other companies' products, but tailor manufacture our systems to meet your requirements. We have over 5 years of experience in deploying and operating these systems in harsh and dangerous environments. We can supply you a kit and train your operatives, and can also deploy and retrieve kits for you or offer a fully managed service.
